A short lecture by civil rights activist Mabel Williams on Martin Luther King Day. Williams, along with her husband Robert, was active in the NAACP leadership and in armed self-defense against the Klan in Monroe, North Carolina. The couple was exiled and engaged in international solidarity work from Cuba before moving back to the United States. The lecture took place at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
