Dissecting the Local News Feature Analyzes the Local Media

|

In the "Dissecting the Local News" section of the Media Mouse website, five analyses of local media stories have been published in that past week and a half. There is an analysis of WOOD TV's reporting on the state of the city address as well as WZZM 13's take on the speech, a look at coverage in the Grand Rapids Press of last weekend's antiwar protests in Washington DC, Press coverage of the Wangari Maathai lecture at Fountain Street Church, and WOOD TV's coverage of "black violence" in Grand Rapids. The recent analyses join more than 230 analyses of local news stories categorized by topic, with analysis covering issues such as War Coverage, Race Representation, Fluff, and others.
