New Military / Counter-Recruitment Database and Resources Online

|

As part of a continued effort to both provide information that is not readily available online and information that can serve as a catalyst for organizing, Media Mouse has compiled a new database of information pertaining military recruiting. The database currently includes a list of recruiting stations, recruiters active in the area, and links to counter-recruitment resources. Additionally, the database includes a list of military installations in the Grand Rapids area including military bases and the local defense contracting authority.

The database joins other efforts such as the Grand Rapids military contracts database and the Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) opt-out form generator in providing resources that will ideally provide increased focus to local antiwar efforts.
