Peace Vigil Tomorrow at Calvin

|

Along with scheduled protests tomorrow, some students at Calvin have organized a peace vigil for tomorrow:

As President Bush joins Calvin on May 21 for commencement, students, faculty, friends and family are welcome to join in a time of prayer on the Commons lawn at 11:45 am. We will observe a moment of silence in remembrance of those who have lost their lives in war and a time of prayer for peace in Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan. We come together to welcome President Bush to campus with prayers that he will use his leadership and power to promote peace and just global policies.
