A new blog called "YAF Watch" has launched with the goal of monitoring the Michigan State University (MSU) chapter of Young Americans for Freedom. Earlier this year, Young Americans for Freedom was determined to be a "hate group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center. According to the blog it is:
...dedicated to tracking the actions of the Michigan State University Young Americans for Freedom, a right-wing student activist group that has been designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. We will also be tracking other YAF groups across the state of Michigan and the nation, as well as other organizations, such as the Minutemen, with which they are affiliated.
So far, the blog contains the resume of Young Americans for Freedom president Kyle Bristow, Bristow's now somewhat legendary campaign platform from when he ran for MSU's student government along with an analysis of the platform, and an update on what several Young Americans for Freedom members are doing over the summer.
