07/19/07: Grand Rapids Second Ward Candidate Forum

The "2nd Ward Candidates Night Out" will feature candidates Michael Booker, David LaGrand, Ruth Kelly, and Dan Koorndyk. The format will be 1 1/2 hours (7:00 to 8:30) of formal question-and-answer (like a debate), then 1/2 hour for candidates to mingle with the crowd (8:30 to 9:00). Paul Haan is will act as the moderator.

7:00pm at Clancy Street Ministries (940 Clancy Street)

07/26/07: Neighborhood Business Mayoral Debate

George Heartwell, Jackie Miller, Jim Rinck, and Rick Tormala will face off in front of an audience of neighborhood business owners and other neighborhood stakeholders. This event will be televised live on GRTV from 7:00-8:30 PM with additional air times after the debate. The debate will be moderated by Andy Guy, the managing editor of Rapid Growth. Questions asked of the candidates have been posed by members of the Neighborhood Business Alliance.

7:00pm - 8:30pm at the Wealthy Street Theatre (1130 Wealthy St SE)
