Bring Democracy Now to Grand Rapids' Airwaves

Media Mouse is organizing a campaign to get Democracy Now! aired on local PBS affi liate WGVU and on independent community radio station WYCE. Having Democracy Now! on the airwaves would provide a valuable counter to the right-wing dominated airwaves in West Michigan.

Democracy Now!, a daily uncensored and corporate-free news hour, is one of public broadcasting's fastest growing programs. The one-hour weekday TV and radio program has been broadcasting award-winning, independent news since 1996. Democracy Now! combines the cutting edge of a breaking news program with a magazine format that allows for extended discussions and debates.
