WOOD TV 8 News reader - A high school football coach is in critical condition tonight after a man opened fire on him at a Texas high school. The coach was air lifted this morning after police said the father of a football player allegedly shot the football coach and then slashed his own wrists. The father has been treated and is behind bars now awaiting charges. Police say the father Jeffrey Robertson had been banned from the campus after a number of confrontations with coaches over the way his son had been treated. His son was a kicker on the football team.
