With a mention on MSNBC this week, Congressional hopeful Jim Rinck probably garnered more attention than U.S. Rep. Vern Ehlers’ last four opponents combined. On “Countdown on Keith Olbermann” Thursday, Rinck’s quotes landed him on the host’s “Oddball” segment. Rinck noted that Ehlers, a rocket scientist, might be the smartest person in the district and that it might take “a somewhat less intelligent although much noisier person to get some things done for this district.” To which Olbermann quipped: “If I’m reading this right, his only possible campaign slogan appears to be: Vote Rinck, louder, dumber, better.” Rinck’s response? “Hmmm. I kind of like that — especially the last part.”
