WOOD Newsreader – A West Michigan candidate running for the US Senate is short signatures to get his name on the ballot. But Jerry Zandstra released a statement saying the he is confident that he will remain on the ballot. The secretary of state says he’s short right now the required 15,000 signatures. The state Republican Party says it’s happy with its two remaining candidates. Keith Butler and Mike Bouchard are both vying to unseat Senator Debbie Stabenow.
