WZZM Newsreader – A ballot issue this November will ask Holland voters to improve an increase for the lakeshores max bus service. The nine hundred seventy three thousand dollars raised by the millage increase would allow the Macatawa area express to expand its services in Holland and Holland’s charter township. It would allow more runs, expanded hours and free rides for seniors and disabled riders.
Linda LeFebre – It enables people with disabilities to get to work. Seniors and many of our other passengers that need to make vital trips on a day to day basis. Max coordinators say millage increases would cost the average homeowner twenty to twenty-five dollars more a year.
