McCain Declares Success in Iraq at West Michigan Press Conference

Last Thursday, Republican presidential candidate John McCain was in West Michigan, primarily for a fundraiser that was closed to the media at the home of Peter Secchia. Before the fundraiser, McCain hosted a press conference that received limited coverage in the local media. The full video of the press conference is available below, complete with McCain’s assertion that the United States has “succeeded” in Iraq “politically, economically and militarily:”
