Over the weekend of July 26-27, the Green Party of Michigan nominated a slate of candidates to run for the US House of Representatives in nine districts. Currently, there are Green Party candidates campaigning in the 1st, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 15th US Congressional Districts. Additionally, the Party nominated candidates for a variety of state-level offices including 53rd District representative, State Board of Education, University of Michigan Board of Regents, Michigan State University Board of Trustees, and the Wayne State University Board of Governors.
