Almost a year ago, there were numerous antiwar demonstrations in Grand Rapids, and from the day of President Bush’s visit to Grand Rapids, police surveillance of antiwar activists. There is a new article on Salon.com titled A Thousand J. Edgar Hoovers that looks at police surveillance of antiwar activists and Grand Rapids has the “honor” of being one of the featured cities.
