Three corporations operating in the Grand Rapids area did $622,841 in work during the month of October for the United States’ military according to research conducted by Media Mouse as part of our ongoing work monitoring contracts awarded for military work. The contracts were all for aerospace work for the Navy and went to the following corporations:
- Eaton Aerospace received two contracts—one for $93,096 and one for $287,160—for the repair or modification of actuators.

Smiths Aerospace received a $173,880 contract for the repair or modification of a program loader.

Dover Resources received a $68,705 contract for a centrifuge pump.
Last month Media Mouse also distributed a one-page handout highlighting the major local war profiteers and distributed them at showings of the Iraq for Sale film at both the Wealthy Theatre and at Grand Valley State University.
