Video from Friday’s Military Recruiting / Antiwar Protest

Media Mouse has put together a short video from Friday’s military recruiting protest at the Armed Forces Career Center in the Celebration Cinema complex. Around 25 people attended the protest organized by the group ACTIVATE and it was the largest and most energetic of the three protests held in Grand Rapids to publicly challenge military recruiters. The protest was one of two events organized to coincide with the nationwide antiwar mobilizations in Washington DC, with a second protest organized by the West Michigan Justice and Peace Coalition on Saturday afternoon that was attended by an estimated 40-50 people.
