I began researching fluoride while working as a reporter for a local newspaper. While gathering background information, I uncovered the dirty politics regarding the implementation in our state. I took my verified findings to the lead reporter and editor. Although the lead reporter had found the same unethical, illegal or at least questionable tactics used by the supporters, the editor leaned back and sneered..you really don't expect me to print that? I quit. Most newspapers take a pro-fluoride position with the unstated philosophy.."Don't confuse us with the facts, we have our stated opinions" This piece was a breath of fresh air..a glimmering that somewhere there are reporters doing their jobs..which includes research..not rearranging previous articles or cut and paste from prior publications. Fluoride is not fluoride. What the CDC and Health Department promote is not what is actually added to the drinking water. The fluoridation substance most water agencies select is a highly corrosive acid containing, in addition to fluoride, many tramp contaminants, including high amounts of arsenic. Keep asking questions and keep demanding answers...in writing. Good job.

I would like to take Danny G.'s advice and Never Swallow Any Fluoride. However, I have no choice. It's in the food I eat and beverages I drink. It's in the air I breathe. All due to industrial use , pesticide application and adding fluoride to water. There is no escaping fluoride. And by the way Fluorine sits at the top of the periodic table - one of the most reactive elements on earth, displaces other required elements such as iodine needed by the body for healthy thyroid function. Doctors, dentists, and all health professionals should receive much more extensive training in toxicology so they better understand the toxic elements they are prescribing for their patients and the general public.

Wow, a factual article on fluoridation (as opposed to those bought and paid for by the ADA) are fairly hard to find.

Thanks so much for giving your readers an ounce of credit on the fluoridation battle.

Know that the AWWA [American Water Works Association] has reported in one of their 'Water Conservation pamphlets' that "Less than 1% of utilities treated water is ever consumed [e.g. swallowed] by human beings." The rest goes to landscape watering, washing uses, and down drains.

So, think of this analogy to the AWWA statement...Would anyone purchase a bottle of 100 EXPENSIVE 'medicant' pills, take just one and throw the rest away into our habitats only to pollute our environments? Of course NOT!

Millions of Dollars are spent to install 'Fluoridation' equipment & Systems, and Billions per year are spent for purchasing phosphate mining industry Silicofluoride [e.g. EPA classified "hazardous waste"], and in the daily operations of delivering a 'medicant' via public water systems for falsely proclaimed 'Better Oral Health'.

The FDA has never approved 'Silicofluorides' as a treatmnet to meet a false/unproven Claim of 'FOR BETTER ORAL HEALTH'.

'Fluoridation' is the Worlds Most economically Wasteful, 'dosage uncontrolled', illicit, illogical 'medicant' delivery system on the face of this Earth!

___

NEVER SWALLOW ANY FLUORIDE !
