		<description>Ed,

Thanks for providing this great summary of the topics covered at our first Bike Summit.

As a representative of the planning committee, I think that the Summit came off pretty well. We had 60 bicycles parked outside by our Bike Valet service, and I don&#039;t have the official number, but I would guess we had at least 180-200 people in attendance for the morning sessions.

Our committee will be meeting again next Monday morning to go over the summit, review the feedback we received through our survey and determine our next course of action. If you attended the summit, I welcome your additional feedback at fotoman311 ( at ) yahoo.com. Even if you didn&#039;t attend the summit, I would like your feedback on where our group should go from here. We&#039;ll need to determine how to setup our group, what the mission will be, and what priorities we will have.

I want us to consider accommodations for all bicyclists in Grand Rapids so we can continue to cultivate, support, and grow the many different strains of bike culture that we already have.
