White Supremacist NSM to Host April Rally in Lansing

The National Socialist Movement (NSM) has scheduled an April 22, 2006 rally at the state capitol building in Lansing. A possible ku klux klan (KKK) rally at the capitol were first reported back in October, but various white supremacist websites have the event listed as a “rally on the steps of the state capital for the White Race” organized by the Michigan chapter of the NSM. In recent months the NSM has increased its activity in Michigan and has participated in events in surrounding states, including the October 15 NSM rally in Toledo that was disrupted by the community. The NSM is one of the most active white supremacist groups operating within the United States.

No time has yet been scheduled for the rally, nor have any plans been announced for protests against the NSM.
