07/08/03 - The Rule of Lawlessness in Iraq

Are US military forces committing war crimes in Iraq? Former US Ambassador
Dennis Jett thinks so. He recently wrote an article for the Miami Herald
arguing that US Gen. Myers and Donald Rumsfeld could be tried for war
crimes if the US was subject to the dictates of the International Criminal
Court (ICC). Harpinder Athwal and Maggie Gardner both believe that it is
less likely now that the US is continuing to act unilateraly. Lastly,
United for Peace and Global Exchange have created a new website that is
focusing exclusively on the US occupation of Iraq.
