The mainstream media, while finally questioning aspects of the war in Iraq -- specifically the false "intelligence" regarding Saddam Hussein's supposed purchase of uranium from Niger, has once again shown their inability to fully examine the issue. It is certainly important to focus on the Niger issue, but by focusing exclusively on that the media is ignoring a plethora of issues that need to be examined in relation to the war (and indeed should have been examined before the war), including: other questionable intelligence, not stopping at the CIA but rather taking the investigation into false intelligence all the way to Bush, the illegal nature of the war, and the murder of at least 6,000 Iraqi civilians.
