The LA Times is reporting that the Bush administration is now looking into the possibility that Iraqi exiles, acting as "double agents," purposely distorted intelligence pertaining to Iraq's weapons programs. Is this the beginning of their acknowledgement that there was no credible intelligence? Such a strategy would probably allow them to pass the blame, but it is hard to imagine that anyone would find it believable. There is also an article on Z Net today that lists many of the claims made by the Bush administration about Iraq's alleged weapons program.
