Stop CAFTA Campaign

For three months in 2005, Media Mouse hosted the website for the Grand Rapids Stop CAFTA Campaign. In addition to providing resources on the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA), Media Mouse posted semi-daily news updates on CAFTA.

Iraq Watch

For almost a year, Media Mouse maintained an Iraq Watch section on the site that provided weekly summaries of the occupation of Iraq with a focus on providing independent sources and perspectives.

Guatemala Update

In December of 2004 and January of 2005, a group of Grand Rapids area activists went visited Guatemala and Mexico and interviewed people involved in a variety of social change movements in Central America. The group made regular postings to the Media Mouse site in the Guatemala Update section of the site.

Anti-Corporate Globalization Campaign

From September 2003 to March 2004, the People's Alliance for Justice and Change had a monthly anti-corporate globalization campaign. As part of this campaign, Media Mouse provided space for the People's Alliance to post online resources to accompany their campaign.

Free Carnival Area of the Americas

In the fall of 2003 Media Mouse hosted the website for the Free Carnival Area of the Americas, a collectively run art space in Lake Worth, Florida that served as a hub for organizing against the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) meeting in Miami in November of 2003.

People's Alliance Bulletin

Between March of 2003 and November of 2003, Media Mouse provided space for the People's Alliance for Justice and Change to publish their People's Alliance Bulletin. The Bulletin began by providing links to independent, "unembedded" coverage of the war and expanded in the summer of 2003 to be a daily news update on issues of interests to progressives.

The Grand Rapids Antiwar Movement

During the lead-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq and the first months of the Iraq war, Media Mouse posted information on the Grand Rapids antiwar movement including upcoming protests and organizing surrounding the war.
