Concerned Women for America is a nationwide organization known for its anti-gay, anti-choice, and anti-women stance. The organization’s founder, Beverly LaHaye (wife of Moral Majority founder Tom LaHaye), has positioned the organization in opposition to feminism and has argued that women should be “totally submissive” to their husbands (source). LaHaye has been a member of the “Council for National Policy](http://www.mediamouse.org/resources/right.php?orgId=15) and served on its Board of Governors in 1982 and 1996.
