Cheney Protest in Downtown Grand Rapids

Vice President Dick Cheney spoke today at the Police Officers Association of Michigan's Annual Convention (transcript). While the visit was announced only yesterday, about 30 protestors gathered outside the Amway Grand Plaza where Cheney was speaking. Many of the protestors were proponents of the "Anybody But Bush" philosophy and consequently waved signs promoting John Kerry for President.
